Emeka Ononye scored a goal in the final minute, but it wasn't enough for the Wright State men's soccer team as Valparaiso held on for a 2-1 home win Wednesday night.

The Crusaders led 1-0 at the half on a goal at the 23:47 mark and extended the lead to 2-0 with a score at the 70:21 mark.

Ononye recorded his goal with 38 seconds left as a corner kick from the right side by Albert Nilsson found him for a shot on the left side of the goal.  It was Ononye's third goal of the season and the third assist for Nilsson.

Valparaiso outshot the Raiders 13-9 and led 6-5 in corner kicks.

Wright State (3-11-1, 1-3-1 Horizon) closes out the home portion of its regular-season schedule Saturday night as the Raiders host Milwaukee at 7:00.  WSU's four seniors--Austin List, Finlay Milne, Seth Petrey and Tim Sampson--will be honored before the match.
