Sarah-Ann Blount, who will be a sophomore on the Wright State track team next season, competed at the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships over the weekend in Baltimore, Maryland.

Blount (Dayton, OH/Thurgood Marshall) set a personal best with a distance of 25.83m in the javelin, finishing second in her flight.  She also placed fifth in her flight and was the highest finisher of Region 5 (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia) with a personal best 10.70m in the high jump.
