DAYTON, Ohio – The Wright State volleyball team helped bring a few smiles and a handful of cool treats to some faces at Dairy Queen on Thursday afternoon as a part of the frozen treat stores “Miracle Treat Day”. The players and coaches talked with fans, signed some autographs and helped raise money to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

All 24 of the Dayton area locations took part in the DQ Miracle Treat Day, where proceeds from every Blizzard treat would go to help the CMN. The Brown Street location was busy and the Raiders met with some fans, talked about the upcoming season and signed some autographs for fans – with a few players enjoying a Blizzard of their own to help the cause.

The Green and Gold are finishing up their first week of preseason and are looking forward to the start of the 2009 slate. The opening match for the Raiders will take place on Friday, August 28 versus East Carolina  at the Third Degree Sportswear Invitational in Richmond, Virginia.
