The Wright State baseball team continues play outside of the Horizon League this week as they compete in the Joe Nuxhall Classic at the University of Cincinnati's Marge Schott Stadium.
The Raiders will play Miami Tuesday at 3 pm and either UC or Xavier Wednesday at 3 or 6:30 pm.

Tickets: For home games, fans can buy tickets at the gate for $5 and $3 for children 3-13 while WSU students with a valid ID will receive free admission.
Raiders: Wright State, 25-8, 11-1, has won four straight, including a three-game sweep over UT Martin at home last weekend. The Raiders, who have won the last two Nuxhall titles and four overall, received 11 votes in this week's USA Today Coaches' Poll.
In Saturday’s game, Zane Collins (5-3) went five innings for the win, allowing just one run on three hits while striking out four. At the plate, Gabe Snyder had four hits and two RBI, Zach Weatherford three hits and three runs scored and Seth Gray three hits and two RBI. Altogether, seven Raiders collected two or more hits. Gray was named the Horizon League Batter of the Week on Monday.
On the season, Gray leads with a .366 batting average while Adrian Marquez is hitting .315 with a team-high 35 RBI on nine double and five homeruns. Matt Morrow is hitting .306. Derek Hendrixson has anchored the bullpen with a 1-0 record, six saves and an ERA of 0.77 over 15 games. Danny Sexton posts a 6-0 mark as a starter and a 1.22 ERA.
Miami: The RedHawks,13-23 and 2-7 in the MAC, have won five straight games, including a three-game sweep over La Salle last weekend. MU has been led by Adam Yacek with a .323 batting average and Ross Haddey at .317. On the mound, Shane Sharp has a 3.81 ERA with a 2-1 record and one save.
The RedHawks lead the all-time series 43-38.
Cincinnati: The Bearcats, 18-17 and 4-5 in the American Conference, have won four of the last five games, including two wins over South Florida and one against Ohio State. AJ Bumpass leads UC with a .338 batting average and 23 RBI. Pitcher Nathan Kroger holds a 7-1 record with an ERA of 1.53, mostly in relief.
Wright State leads the all-time series 42-36-1.
Xavier: The Musketeers, 20-16 and 3-3 in the Big East, are coming off a 2-1 weekend against league foe Seton Hall. Conor Grammes leads X with a .331 batting average and 20 RBI while Ryan Bannon has nine homeruns. Matt Kent has appeared in 14 games in relief with a team-leading ERA of 1.64 and a 4-1 record.
Wright State leads the all-time series 38-31 as the teams split two games earlier this season: Xavier winning 7-4 at Hayden Field on March 21 and WSU winning at home April 11 8-7.
Next Up: The Raiders will host Oakland in a doubleheader Saturday at 1 pm before traveling to Valparaiso Sunday for a doubleheader at 1 pm.
