Men's Tennis Wins Home Opener Over Duquesne

The Wright State men's tennis team won its home opener Saturday, defeating Duquesne 4-3 at the South Regency Tennis Center in Springboro.

The Raiders took the early lead by winning the doubles point as Jamison Clark and Hayden Joblin won 8-4 in #1 doubles and Evan Neuman and Ricardo Pineda 8-6 in #3 doubles. 

WSU then won three singles matches as Lauri Makikalli won 7-6, 6-1 in #1 singles, Joblin 7-5, 6-4 in #3 singles and Michal Lyzwa 6-1, 6-2 in #5 singles.

Wright State (1-1) goes to Indiana on Wednesday, January 23, for a 6:00 match.
