Men's Soccer Ties Marquette In Exhibition

The Wright State men's soccer team closed out the exhibition portion of its schedule Sunday afternoon with a scoreless tie against Marquette at Alumni Field.

Both teams had their opportunities, with the Golden Eagles finishing with a 12-7 edge in shots, but both defenses preserved the shutout, with WSU goalkeeper Jacob Bye recording five saves.

Wright State opens the regular season with four straight away from home, starting with Marshall on Friday, August 24, at 7:00.  The home opener for the Raiders will be on Saturday, September 8, against Robert Morris, also at 7:00.
